Pile Cap Design
When faced with the challenge of installing several large monopiles for a port upgrade, Dynamic decided to approach the problem differently.
Leveraging the heavy lift capability of The Dynamic Beast our engineering staff proposed pre-casting the entire pile cap and utilizing methods found in the oil and gas industry to complete the installation.
Pre-casting the pile cap allows for significant schedule savings, as the pile cap can be constructed in advance of pile driving de-coupling the items and increasing safety and execution certainty.
