Dynamic were contracted to execute critical works for Neptune Bulk Terminals (NBT). The scope of the project was split into 3 distinct phases:

Phase 1: Dismantle and scrapping of the existing Demag. This involved careful planning and engineering to ensure there was a structured method to safely dismantle and remove the equipment from site. The execution involved multi-crane operations in cooperation with the skilled Dynamic Team who completed the work as per planned in a safe, compliant and timely manner, including scrapping and removal of all parts from site.

Phase 2: Load-on, transportation and offload of the 167MT Tripper and 971MT Stacker/Reclaimer.  The Dynamic Beast was mobilized to Victoria where the load-on was executed at the United Engineering Limited (UEL) fabrication site.  The Tripper was lifted onto the deck of the Dynamic Beast with the M1200 ringer crane and the Stacker/Reclaimer was rolled-on using Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT’s). After sea-fastening the equipment ready for the sea voyage, the equipment was transported on the Dynamic Beast to the NBT site in North Vancouver where the offload operation was flawlessly executed.   The offload included the land transportation of the equipment up a temporary road through the coal storage facility to the final installation position, on the rails at the north end of the site.  Dynamic planned and managed all aspects of the project, including interfacing with multiple 3rd parties to execute this critical scope.

Phase 3:  The Dynamic team in cooperation with the equipment provider, completed the installation, integration and testing/commissioning of the equipment ready for operation.

Dynamic worked closely with all parties to ensure all aspects of the project were engineered and planned ready for the safe execution of the works.  All 3 phases of the projects were executed with due-diligence and professionalism and met the demands of the project needs, including marine warranty.
